Called Madeleine, these candles used to illuminate the Madeleine church in Paris. They are made, employing traditional methods, in our Normandy workshop. Dyed in small lots, Madeleine candles are created from superior quality wax.

This holiday season, the Madeleine, are now scented with the fragrance Fir, inviting to gather around the christmas tree.

Each box contains 6 Madeleine candles.

An iconic creation, Fir harmonizes the olfactory notes of conifer, myrrh, and incense absolute. It embodies the enchanting world of grand winter forests, concentrating all the anticipation around the Christmas tree and inviting everyone to gather, and warm up, by a comforting fireplace.

NOTE:

  1. In order to get the most out of your candle, burn it until the entire surface of the candle melts.
  2. When burned simultaneously, it is recommended to leave at least 30 cm of space between each candle.
  3. Do not leave candle burning unattended. Do not set in a draft. Keep away from children, curtains and pets.
  4. Should the wick require centering, gently readjust to correct position when the wax is still molten. Allow candle to solidify before relighting.
  5. Should any black smoke appear, trim the tip of the wick. It should be clean and no longer than 5mm at all times.
  6. Always protect the table or surface on which the candle rests (with a wood or ceramic plate, for example).
  7. To protect the glass, always ensure that 0.5 centimeters of unmelted wax remain for Classic-sized candles. L’Intermède and La Grande Bougie are equipped with wick-stoppers and will automatically extinguish once they become visible. (Always leave at least 3 cm of non-molten wax at the bottom)
  8. Keep your candle in a dry and temperate environment, between 60 and 80° F.
  9. The first use of your candle should occur within the two first months after its reception.
